Deadbeats: The Rock’n’Zombie Webseries

From the singular encounter between rock and zombie culture is born Deadbeats, a crazy and brilliant webseries set in a world where zombies are rock lovers and the protagonists risk their life literally for their passion for music. The series tells the adventures of the Barons Kriminel, a rock band formed by Lance, Alex and Esteban, three boys struggling with the many obstacles that come between them and success. But here another obstacle: zombies - attracted by the music - attack during the concerts, preventing them from performing in public. Festivals and performances are deleted one after the another, but the protagonists are determined and want to continue to play at all costs. Even at the cost of life?!

Winner of the award for best cast in the second edition of the Dublin Web Fest, Deadbeats was created by Aurélie Joly and Emma D Legendre, two french authors passionate about Indie Rock. The series aims to show, through the metaphor of the zombies, the challenges and difficulties that the little amateur and semi-professional groups have to deal with every day, however they don’t lose heart and continue to fight to achieve their dream. The creators have also launched a crowdfunding campaign on Touscoprod’s platform asking and obtaining public support for the production of the first two episodes available on the YouTube channel of the series.
