Nonnedoitbetter2: A Launch with Chef Rubio and Famous Grannies for the Second Season of the Beer Peroni's Webseries

17-07-2016

Media

During the last month the beer Peroni company has chosen to publicize its brand by developing the second season of the webseries Nonnedoitbetter. In the same period a lot of people has been really interested in Euro2016 competition. Gabriele Rubini, known as Chef Rubio, is the testimonial and the presenter of the series. The actual protagonists of the episodes are six Italian footballers' (Perin, Romagnoli, Abate, Candreva, Verratti, Gilardino) grandmothers.

Every episode shows how to cook footballers' favourite dishes. Chef Rubio helps the grandmothers to cook in the kitchen and he also asks about grandsons' lives: stories of their childhood, their relationship with the family, anecdotes about cooking. Chef Rubio and grandmothers continue to joke around and talk during the lunch. As a perfect guest, Chef Rubio brought a bottle of Peroni beer. He pours two glasses of this beer for himself and the grandmother. Once they have finished to eat, they have a chat while sitting on the sofa. Nonnedoitbetter2 is the second season of a brand-oriented webseries previously released by Peroni company. The beer company reinvented the format by reducing the duration of episodes and trying to involve audience thanks to famous footballers' grandmothers. Obviously the aim is to use the great football exposure in Italy and the high popularity level reached during international competitions.
